The weather was ideal for Michael & Stephanie’s wedding at the Aerie at Eagle Landing this past weekend. The ceremony took place outside in the back of the property. I used our new small sound system outside and had my main system set up inside. The bride and groom put their spin on cocktail and dinner by providing some special musical requests. After a great dinner and toasts there were cupcakes and pie’s for dessert. The group was a bit tentative to dance at first but after we felt each other out we were on our way to a great evening of dancing and memories. Joseph & Margaux had their reception at The Nines in downtown Portland. A Sound Choice Entertainment helped with the reception. Cocktail hour started in the foyer and moved in to the ballroom. A formal introduction of the bridal party to “You got to fight for your right to party” kicked off the evening. During dinner the bride and groom shared a slide show with their guests and family. A wide variety of dance music kept the crowd dancing all night. Fun dancing group.

Mr. & Mrs. Daniel & Crystal Swain / Resort at the Mountain / March 10, 2012

A Sound Choice Entertainment traveled to the Resort at the Mountain to help Daniel and Crystal with their ceremony and reception. We used our new small sound system to help with the ceremony and then our larger system for the reception. After a short receiving line guests welcomed their new bride and groom into the reception. This 65 person group was small but very energetic throughout the night. Red solo cup made the night for Daniel and his groomsman. DJ Daniel was on had to assist with the emcee duties and dance music. Matthew & Ashley were married at the First Presbyterian church and on Saturday March 3, 2012. The cocktail hour happened in the beautiful lobby of the Benson Hotel and the reception followed in the Mayfair room. A formal introduction of the bridal party and bride and groom lead right into dinner. A Sound Choice provided a screen and projector for a slide show that played throughout dinner. This diverse group danced to country and hip hop for 3.5 hours. The evenings festivities were coordinated by Jules from Jules Rapae Events. Pictures we taken by Tyler Gould photography. Derek & Lindsay shared their ceremony and reception at The Benson Hotel. After some cocktail time in the beautiful Benson lobby guests made there way into the Crystal ballroom. After the formal introduction of the bridal party Derek and Lindsay entered the room and went right into their first dance. After a quick welcome dinner service started. All the guests had a great time and danced throughout the night. Flowers were provided by Kim from Geranium Lake Flowers and the photography was provided by our good friends from Holland Studios.

The Governor Hotel was the location for Matt and & Robyn’s Ceremony and Reception. Both the bridal party and bride and groom came into the reception to the song Sexy and I know it by the LMFAO. Matt and Robin went directly into their first dance as husband and wife. Two other couples at the wedding were also past clients of A sound Choice entertainment. The energy in the room was electric and the young crowd kept the dancing going until late into the night.

We had a blast with Tyler and Cassie at the Abernethy Center this past weekend. We were not only their DJ, but they also opted to have us run our photo-booth style service known as PartyPics!

As you can see, everyone was having a great time and the photo-booth style prints were a huge hit as a keepsake for the guests!

The Columbia Gorge Hotel offered spectacular views for Johathan & Lacey’s ceremony and reception. John Brookhouse was the DJ for the wedding. The 50 guests enjoyed some cocktail time overlooking the Columbia river and then came inside for an early dinner. Toasting of the bride and groom was followed by the traditional cake cutting. Dancing reached a peak with Jon and Lacey being raised in chairs with the traditional Hava Nagila Jewish dance. Michael Hacker photography was the professional Photographer.

The snow and cold weather was still present for Kristopher and Annie’s wedding at Timberline Lodge. A Sound Choice Entertainment helped with the ceremony in the Ravens nest and then the reception took place. The formal introduction lead right into brunch buffet services. After brunch the bride and groom shared a video presentation with their guests. Toast’s, cake cutting and then the dancing took hold. For an afternoon affair the dance floor was fairly busy. After the reception was over Kristopher and Annie had a private trash the dress moment. Aaronstadt Studios captured the wedding and the after reception pool pictures as Kristopher and Annie took the plunge into the Timberline pool.
