We had a blast with Tyler and Cassie at the Abernethy Center this past weekend. We were not only their DJ, but they also opted to have us run our photo-booth style service known as PartyPics!

The Columbia Gorge Hotel offered spectacular views for Johathan & Lacey’s ceremony and reception. John Brookhouse was the DJ for the wedding. The 50 guests enjoyed some cocktail time overlooking the Columbia river and then came inside for an early dinner. Toasting of the bride and groom was followed by the traditional cake cutting. Dancing reached a peak with Jon and Lacey being raised in chairs with the traditional Hava Nagila Jewish dance. Michael Hacker photography was the professional Photographer.

Mr. & Mrs. Kristopher & Annie Lynn / April 17, 2011 / Timberline Lodge

The snow and cold weather was still present for Kristopher and Annie’s wedding at Timberline Lodge. A Sound Choice Entertainment helped with the ceremony in the Ravens nest and then the reception took place. The formal introduction lead right into brunch buffet services. After brunch the bride and groom shared a video presentation with their guests. Toast’s, cake cutting and then the dancing took hold. For an afternoon affair the dance floor was fairly busy. After the reception was over Kristopher and Annie had a private trash the dress moment. Aaronstadt Studios captured the wedding and the after reception pool pictures as Kristopher and Annie took the plunge into the Timberline pool.

Mr. & Mrs. Scott & Penny Holdaway / April 9, 2011 / Portland Art Museum

The sunken ballroom at the Portland Art Museum was the location of Soctt and Penny’s wedding. Portland Wedding Planner Marilyn Storch coordinated the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was preformed in the sunken ballroom by Roger Moore from Moore creative weddings. This elegant wedding had all the details in place. After the ceremony, the sunken ballroom was turned into a beautiful reception. Scott and Penny were formally introduced and dinner service started. Eric from Hybrid moon captured the video and Michelle & Justin from Artistique Photographie took care of the digital photography. All the formal emcee duties were taken care of by A Sound Choice and guests were also treated to a special photo taken by the fun professionals at Paparazzi. Guests had a great time dancing the night away. The party went an additional hour and a half. The ceremony and reception was a true success.

Kevin and Sara had their reception at the Eastmoreland Golf Course. Sara booked A Sound Choice about 3 weeks prior to her wedding. She used the on line planning tools and the reception was a true success. From the formal introduction to the last dance A Sound Choice emceed the entire event and guests danced the night away. John Brookhouse was the DJ for the evening.

Jefferey and Amber shared their vows and reception at the Urban Studio in the pearl district of down town Portland. A Sound Choice Entertainment helped with live music and audio assistance for the vows shared during the ceremony. The room was turned and after the formal introduction Amber & Jeff started off dinner services. A Sound Choice also included Party Pics for the evening. All the guests had their picture taken and everyone danced into the evening. Photos were taken by Lightbox Studio in Vancouver.

Formal introductions were followed by dinner, toasts, cake cutting and first dance. The group enjoyed a fun night of dancing and conversation. Mr. & Mrs. Drew & Elizabeth Tanner / Gray Gables Estate / February 19, 2011

Drew & Elizabeth shared their wedding with 230 guests at Gray Gables Estate in Milwaukie. A Sound Choice supplied classical guest seating music and the ceremony music for all the people down the aisle. The ballroom was turned and cocktail music was piped into the foyer. Doors opened and shortly after Drew and Elizabeth were formally introduced. All the formalities were taken care of and after some dancing the ladies from Chi Omega sang to Elizabeth. Dancing lasted until the limo departed at 10pm. Photography was taken care of by Remembrance photography.

Laura and Tony’s ceremony took place at the Governor Hotel in the Library room. After cocktails guests moved into the Billiard room for dinner and dancing. Toasts, traditional cake cutting and the first dance started the reception. The group was lively and Justin Cole was the DJ. Flowers were provided by our friends at A Floral Affair.
